Gender Equity Hall

Does the idea of gender inclusive housing sound like a great idea?

If you want to live a community committed to gender equity, this could be the space for you!

The University of Oregon residential experience offers gender inclusive housing for students.  Residents of this specific housing location (and only this location) can choose to room with a student of any gender. This community is created for students who do not wish to be limited in housing spaces by gender or sex, and for students who feel that they would be more comfortable with a roommate of a different gender. This is an inclusive space for transgender students, students in the process of discovering their gender identity, gay, lesbian or bisexual students, students who feel uncomfortable rooming with members of the same gender, and intersex students who do not wish to be identified by sex.
