On Tuesday, the EMU Amphitheater was filled with people from the UO community supporting LGBTQ rights. At the center of the Amphitheater was the coming out pavilion, complete with a UO Queer Pride poster and a real closet door for people to "come out" of.

The poster was for participants to leave their mark and give a "high five" for queer pride at University of Oregon.

Near the end of the rally, at 2:00, the LGBTQA held a Kiss-In to protest anti-gay hate on campus. The Kiss-In was followed by a march around campus.

Coming Out Week continues for one last day with a LGBTQ Dance Party in the LLC Performance Hall tonight (10/12) at 9:00!

Welcome to the University of Oregon!

We hope this site informs, engages, and connects the UO LGBTQIA community.  We strive to include all resources we are aware of that relate to sexual orientation and gender identity along with referrals to other social justice and ally building resources.
